Readers’ testimonials

Hi, this is just a thank you for all the good work that goes into preparing and distributing The Family Grapevine. I moved to Farnham recently knowing no one in the area, with severe, possibly puerpural, depression and recovering from 3 miscarriages since my baby was born (now 15 months). I’ve joined loads of the music based classes amd have been going to lots of the mother and baby groups and as a result have made a lot of great new friends, ‘got over’ my depression and grief and seen my daughter blossom with all the social contact. Without my copy of The Family Grapevine I would still be lonely and isolated, so thank you so much for such an essentail lifeline.

This is definitely the most valuable resource I’ve found for knowing what’s going on in my local area – there’s nothing else like it, it’s fantastic! My little boy wouldn’t have half so much fun without all the wonderful ideas I’ve discovered in these pages and I am extremely grateful to you.

Just wanted to let you know that I have just found out about your magazine. I picked it up at my local ballet school a couple of days ago. It’s absolutely BRILLIANT! This is absolutely great as trying to find ballet classes etc. on the internet has proved very difficult. I have now found quite a few new places to try for swiming, ballet, etc, it’s brilliant. I have passed on the details to all my friends who have kids as well.

I am frustrated at the information available in my area and found the issue I picked up last year a fantastic source of information. From a mother who picked up a copy on a visit to East Surrey.

I think The Family Grapevine is brilliant! It’s so useful in helping you get to know your local facilities and I don’t think there’s anything else like it.
Oh I wish there had been something like this when our children were small!

It’s fab, couldn’t do without it!!!!!!!!!!

I left a message on your telephone, called from New York City. Our family spend each spring in Haywards Heath and we totally rely on The Family Grapevine for activities for our three year old during our stay. This year we are arriving mid-June for 4-6 weeks – I am hoping you can mail us an issue of the Spring Edition. Thank you so much for your attention to us!

Couldn’t be without The Family Grapevine, it’s such a brilliant resource – a true family bible!

I started working with Connexions in March, the magazine has been like a bible to me supporting teenage parents in Telford and Wrekin. Can’t say enough good things about the mag really except it’s a great source of information, user friendly and FREE… fantastic!!

What a great Magazine! All the info and contacts needed by anyone with children in one handy package.

The Grapevine is the best publication out there.

I have just moved to Milton Keynes and found your second edition of the Grapevine in the library last week. I was really pleased to find that there is such a good local edition – it was a real lifeline for me in Surrey.
